On successful completion of the module, the student should be able to:
· Reveal a capacity to apply the concepts of operations management with a view to improving company’s effectiveness.
· Consider the role of operations management in organizations with differing corporate culture, mission, goals, strategies and behavioural standards.
· Study the fundamental principles and scope of operations management.
· Use the tools and apply the techniques of operations management in a variety of problem-solving situations.
